Concept Overview - The Attraction Complex

The Bible was originally put into print for everyone to share in its wisdom and knowledge and to establish a relationship with God. Only now, some 2000 years later, is it possible to use multi-media & technology to impart scriptural understanding through the miracle of a living Bible. Within the Complex there are three main venues that visitors will be able to experience separately or as a whole; The God Experience Attraction, a multipurpose Dinner Theater and the Exhibit Hall promoting temporary traveling exhibits

The complex will combine the rich message of the Bible with revolutionary technology to restore the foundations of faith and showcase its timeless relevance. We are committed to enhancing the spiritual and moral fabric of our society by communicating through exciting immersive media presentations and themed interactive information filled galleries - the attraction experience is self-guided with no required sequence, just fun filled learning and edutainment at each turn.

Wisdom of the Ages – Once entering through the foyer of the building, you walk into a room with a vaulted ceiling. Reflecting a timeless aesthetic, the simple, elegant gallery features a spectacular stained glass window depicting the wonders of the universe. Though the venue resounds with the awe and gravitas of ancient architecture, the old familiar stories and ideas conveyed here will be presented in crisp, contemporary ways.

Depicted throughout the room are paintings, illustrations and unique interactive and video exhibits that showcase classical biblical stories. “Imparting Knowledge” is the overarching theme in this fascinating contemporary museum-like themed gallery. The focus here is on history, conveyed by a unique interactive timeline showing major moments in biblical history side-by-side against other world events. Auxiliary exhibits, and displays offer additional artifacts to explore the knowledge-centered topics demonstrating archaeology and biblical truths throughout history.

– At one end of the chamber you are confronted by what appears to be an ancient façade, the remnants of something thousands of years old. The worn and weathered stone speaks to the earliest days of the Christian faith. The exposed ruins give the feeling of an archeological dig, open for us to experience, a bridge between the past and the present

As you enter the large multi media auditorium the entrance corridor hums with anticipation. Dim light faintly illuminates the carved rock walls, flickering from stone sconces. The auditorium resembles an ancient theater, carved from stone with concentric rows of seats facing what could be a stage. Below your feet, the walkway inexplicably glows, helping you negotiate to your seat.

Once you are seated a low reverberation shakes the ground, like the rumble of a rockslide. A sweeping musical theme fuels the excitement-there are secrets here to discover. An elaborate carving adorns one of the rugged walls, but before you have time to examine it more closely, will-o-the-wisps of light begin to swirl around the room.

The Main Show: The Lost Dream -- This is the heart of the attraction. This amazing theater presentation combines an unusual fusion of the oldest story in the world and the marvel of 21st century technology. Our first season will feature “The Lost Dream”—a grand sweep of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation compressed into a breathtaking, soul-searing immersive experience. Cutting edge 3-D circular media technology combined with stunning imagery and an array of remarkable in-theater special effects surround the audience, conveying the Bible’s core message with unprecedented impact and immediacy.

The story ultimately reveals how Jesus was the one responsible for reestablishing a path toward the Dream that God had in store for us from the beginning and connects the cross and His sacrifice to that end. It will also demonstrate how all of us, through faith in Christ, can become part of God’s Dream by becoming more fully human, more fully in God’s image. And as we do, we participate with our Redeemer in the ultimate adventure of recapturing the dream for our world. What was “lost” in the fall of man is now “found” in the footsteps of Christ.

The Discovery Experience – Slipping through a rift in the far wall of the chamber, you walk down a short, stone passageway and into a large, open area, filled with fascinating exhibits and interactive experiences. This captivating experience allows you to delve deeper into God’s Dream as your mission on earth with its many mysteries and explore your own adventure with Christ. Here, you can learn more about real-life heroes who have chosen to participate with God’s Dream, and discover ways that you can take action personally.

Since the dawn of time, man has searched for answers to the centuries old questions of our existence. Where did we come from? Did God create us? Did we merely evolve? Is the Bible God-inspired? What is our eternal destiny?  The core theme at the center of this experience is “understanding.” This technology driven area exposes visitors to Christian faith depicted by a collection of small video theatres. Through the use of interactive features, audiences will gain a better understanding of true Christianity and the tenets of Christian belief.

The Retail Experience – The God Experience will offer a unique Christian retail store providing a broad range of quality merchandise and faith-based media, the store will be a source of inspiration and guidance to those pursuing a deeper faith experience. The merchandise is presented among a beautiful display of paintings and sculptures created by some of the world’s finest Christian artists. Playing host for gifted artisans with a God-centered approach to their art, the store will provide a rich backdrop for exhibitions of their work. In particular, visitors will be able to purchase materials related to what they just experienced, enabling them to take a part of their experience home with them. Additionally, the store will feature current merchandise from our Traveling Exhibit Hall. The shop is accessible to all visitors without charge and offers something for everyone.

Lighthouse Café – Guests will enjoy refreshments at this attractive counter service facility while relaxing and taking in the beautiful scenic view of the Garden of Eden. Easy chairs and relaxing background music add to the comfortable, indoor outdoor contemporary setting. As parents sit back and relax, they can watch their kids play in the nearby Tree of Life playground. This café will be operational all year and open to the public. We anticipate it being the gathering place for many local residents to hold informal meetings and just a place to escape.

Garden of Eden – The picturesque Garden of Eden is set in a natural landscape accented by a dramatic cascading waterfall.  This multifunctional outdoor area will be a place where guests can relax while enjoying the beauty and tranquility of the gardens or experience the entertaining al fresco light shows and seasonal special events.

Tree Of Life Playground – The themed tree house playground is located across from the Lighthouse Café, an ideal place for children to have fun in an outdoor adventure.

Exhibit Hall – An ideal venue for international traveling exhibits that intermingle with The God Experience theme.  This area will house a variety of alternating exhibits including archeological exhibits such as The Dead Sea Scrolls, The Shroud of Turin; Creation Science and other scientific exhibitions. We have identified other Biblical exhibits displaying some of the foremost Bible Collections in the world providing something new and different for repeat visitors to the location.

The Dinner Theater Experience – This unique dining experience provides guests with cuisine that is much more than a meal. Featuring an incredible blend of performing arts, the Dinner Theater Experience will take guests on a cultural journey, reminding them of the foundation of their beliefs. The Dinner Theater will also be utilized for seminars, special events and corporate functions through out the year and will offer something the visitor to Branson will love and expect in this market.

The Attraction Complex offers much more that can be enjoyed in one visit. Providing new media presentations and displays with rotating traveling exhibits and planned special occasions highlighting traditional Christian holidays and events gives the visitor multiple choices. The hosting of many memorable family and church group meetings and celebrations throughout the year will insure that The God Experience at The Complex becomes a regular family destination.
